About Me

Hello! A few bits of information about myself...To begin, I am currently an Art History and Mass Communications student at Carleton University. My interest in the Arts began and an early age, I was always looking for little "inspirations" to draw and paint. I enjoyed making little clay sculptures of animals and drawing my pets "portraits". In high school I was involved in the Arts and luckily most of my curriculum was art based. I owe my early interest in photography to my older brother (a natural talent in photography as a hobby). He suggested I take the subject in High School, and I ended up earning the academic photography award.

After High School I lost sight of my passions for some time as I was trying to find my niche in the world (Obviously like so many young people). Then I found the love of my life Alex, who as an extremely talented artist helped to open my eyes to the art world again. Through his guidance (and a few others) he is helping me come out of my shell once again, and do what I always loved to do. Express myself through the lens of a camera, paint, and deliver to the audience my little twists on reality.

My future goals are to continue my artwork and organize independent art shows for artists in Ottawa and the surrounding area. I have been very fortunate to have met many talented artists who share the same passions as I do. Therefore, I aim to be constantly open to meeting new people and making connections that will be an asset in helping me with my future endeavours.

Thank you for visiting and enjoy my site!

One of my first hand developed photographs

* This was one of my first photographs that was completely developed by hand (both film and photo) I was 16yrs old and in grade 11. This image is of my pet hedgehog at the time Flower. This photo was developed using the negative sandwich technique. The two negatives were of Flower in the grass, and a cluster of Brown eyed Susan's.

My happiest memories of High School were in that Darkroom.
